Dr Murad Tarmohamed
Dr. Murad Tarmohamed is a distinguished consultant in General Surgery with a wide experience of over 10 years in clinical medicine augmented by Postgraduate Training in Endoscopic, Transplant and Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery affiliated with Northumbria Healthcare (UK), Manchester Royal Infirmary (UK) and Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences (India).
He has trained and mentored numerous medical students and surgical residents at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre. Of particular note, Dr. Tarmohamed was pivotal in training surgeons at Benjamin Mkapa Hospital, Dodoma in laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Tarmohamed is a well-rounded surgeon with competencies in Thyroid Disorders, Simple and Complex Hernias and Gallstone Diseases among many others.
Dr. Tarmohamed is keen on improving surgical outcomes in resource-limited centres and has interest in improving morbidity and mortality. He is has a deep passion for Minimal Invasive as well as Day Care Surgery.
