Dr. Masood earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Hubert Kairuki Memorial University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, graduating in 2016. She then pursued further specialization, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam, completing her studies in 2023. Additionally, she completed her Advanced Level General Certificate of Education at Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary from 2009 to 2011.

Dr. Masood has gained valuable experience in obstetrics and gynecology through various roles in healthcare institutions. She served as a Resident Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from November 2019 to August 2023. In this role, she provided comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Prior to her residency, Dr. Masood worked as a Medical Doctor in the Gynecology and Obstetrics department at Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from November 2017 to November 2019, where she handled cases in her ward. She began her medical career as an Intern Doctor at Aga Khan Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from November 2016 to October 2017.

Dr. Masood possesses a diverse skill set in obstetrics and gynecology, including the management of antenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecological conditions. She is experienced in handling both routine cases and complex obstetric emergencies, demonstrating her ability to provide high-quality care in diverse clinical settings.
