Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer develops in the ovaries, the female reproductive organs that produce eggs and hormones. It is often called the “silent killer” because symptoms may not appear until the disease has progressed to an advanced stage. Common symptoms of ovarian cancer include abdominal bloating, pelvic pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, and urinary symptoms. Treatment for ovarian cancer may involve surgery, chemotherapy, or targeted therapy, depending on the stage and type of cancer.
